North Texas summer garden

Attended huge protest for a "small" DFW suburb....Flower Mound, TX. Held signs, found tree shade and yelled and waved a cars driving by. Got lots of car honks, thumbs ups, waves. About a thousand protesters and only a few Trump trucks with flags. No issues.

We've had a couple of light freezes, but these late December roses are gorgeous. Sure brighten the season!

First year we've had fruit on our passion vine. This is a shot glass with passion fruit juice. Fabulously tart and sweet.

Tia is a rescue pup from a reservation in Arizona. She's our grand dog and loves hanging on the back porch in the sun. Tia's about 5. She loves all people....but tolerates some other dogs. Likes to bring in our cat at night. We say "go get the kitty" and she does.

This "Violet's Pride" rose is a couple of years old. This photo was taken a few weeks ago. Nice fall bloom. With climate change, roses should bloom well into December in north TX.

Gracie just decided she wanted in my lap. 6 years old rescue kitty. Big girl…18 pounds.
