I had a mental health win yesterday! I'm an hour from Belle Isle, in Ypsilanti, and I wanted to go there very early. My friend was going to drive us and she canceled, but I still went alone. I went 6 miles even though I got lost on the island.

I'm terrified of thunderstorms. And to be fair, I live in an area where there are occasionally tornadoes, so it's not a completely baseless phobia. I use headphones when a storm comes. So imagine my surprise when I reach for them at the first crack of thunder...
