I have many baby clothing pet peeves, but a big one is the ruffle butts on baby girls clothing. It’s weird, ugly, and I can’t imagine it’s comfortable to lay or sit on. Why is it a thing? Are plain butts too masculine? Ugh, the patriarchy.

I speak out loud to my baby a lot because it’s supposed to help her developmentally, but I do it so much that now I do it with the dogs too. I’ll be walking them and say “oh, see a bird, wow” as if I’m talking to my baby 🫠🤦♀️
