I'll share a few of my favorite most recent art 😉
An illustration based on the song Mummy Dust by the band Ghost. It's heavily inspired by Art Deco motifs, like the album arts at the time. It features the band's frontman back then, Papa Terzo, standing in with his hands crossed over his chest - like mummies - and wearing black, gold and yellowish green attire. There are two wolves, one on each side, light gray on top of their heads becoming darker and darker until totally black on their paws - their eyes, bright yellow. The background consists of a big, bright city in shades of green - lighter on top and the lower you go, it becomes darker until almost black. The sky is golden yellow with sparkling stars and searchlights, with two bright golden pillars on each side: one with the alfa symbol and the other with the omega symbol. Behind Terzo's head, there's an inverted triangle, almost like a halo, similar to the one you can find in the dollar bill pyramid. Under his feet and under the pillars, the drawing becomes more organic, inspired by Giger's art - all in shades of black/gray and dark gold. On the sides, shapes that resemble hands and machines intertwine around round golden shapes, almost like Chinese coins. Under his feet, there are two shapes like machines resembling people kneeling on the floor with their heads down, carrying the whole city on their backs, almost as if carrying a God, with a machine in the middle with a mouth filled with broken teeth and golden coins, linked to the human figures with a machine umbilical cord. The whole drawing features bright, golden, sparkly yellow on top, getting darker and darker until almost black on the very bottom. The lower it goes, one can see cracks, faint rot and small flies scattered around - the upper you go, one can see more gold, sparkles and lighter, brilliant motifs. On the very top, above Terzo's head, there's a quote of the song "In God you trust". A half-body illustration of my original dark fantasy character, Kathleen Rose, a vampire hunter. She is walking under the moonlight, with the moon and dark forest behind her, while holding her sword and drenched in blood. She is pale and has pale blond hair down to her waist, flowing in the wind, while her eyes are green framed by an almost warpaint like black shiny makeup, smudged carelessly around her eyes. She wears only black clothes: a leather vest up to her neck with sharp shoulders, a pair of leather pants, linen shirt and gloves. She wears a few brown belts to hold purses and weapons, as well as brown leather braces. On her shirt, there's a detail in light blue and lilac on the arms, and she wears her sword belt, made of silver squares embellished with roses, strapped around her torso/chest. She also has a few silver spikes on her clothes: on the vest around her neck and on her braces, which extends to her hands - being quite useful for punching her enemies and causing a little more damage. The majority of the blood is on her hand/forearm holding her sword and close to her chest, as well as a few stripes going down her face almost like tears. A half body illustration of the character Loki from the Marvel universe, but in his frost giant (Jotun) form. He has a few braids on a shoulder length hair, with his classic horned helmet being more of a headband. He wears a large fur cape around his shoulders, as well as a large neck/chest piece with a knotwork pattern - the same pattern is repeated on his staff. He has a few marks on his face and chest, the ones he would have as a frost giant. He is also wearing gold and black pants, as well as golden bracers with fur. The background is dark blue on top and light blue below, as if it's snowing. His looks is very much inspired by his Marvel Rivals design, but I wanted to work on a more Norse God looking version of it - still as if it was one of his skins in game. That's why I chose the braided hair, lots of fur and detailed knotwork on the golden patches. The fur is also more on the gray side, as a little nod to Fenrir and a sort of "wolf in sheep's clothing" kind of thing. A half-body illustration of my original dark fantasy character, a Vampiric Lord called István. He is casually standing with one of his hands close to his lips, while the other holds a sword (poorly drawn sword for reasons of: the guard of the sword kept getting in front of important stuff in his hand, so I decided not to draw it and it looks more like a metal stick than anything else). He is tall, strong but skinny, and very pale, with dark black wavy hair down to his waist. His eyes are surrounded by darker black/wine colors, while the irises glow in red. His lips are of the same dark wine color. His forearms are black, with black veins going up his arms almost to his shoulders, and you can also see the same black veins going up his torso from his lower waist. His hands are actually sharp, skinny and long claws, not human. He is wearing black leather pants that almost look like armor and black leather embellished belt, with silver and red gems details. Behind him, you can barely see the shape of black, bat looking big wings. He is also covered in blood, that looks more like watercolor, splattered on his lips, hands and chest, running down his whole body. The background is a simple, lighter color and the lightning is during the night, with highlights and rim lights in bright red.
