I have no data to back this up but I post that the majority of belly flops are done on purpose. I know you can intentionally flop but it feels like the name itself is supposed to invoke that it was an accident.*

As this year comes to a close, I once again reflect on the person I was and the person I wish I was. You can change your life at any time but it's always helpful to have a defined starting point. Here's to a new year of trying to be the best person I can be, likely falling short, but trying again.

Thank God I finally get a little break from all the chaos and and soul crushing grind by getting away from the family and going back to work. Gotta love a mid-week Christmas.

I like to think the universe will be efficient w/ the afterlife. If I'm going to "heaven" it's me excitedly showing someone a piece of media I love for the 1st time in the hopes I make them a super fan too... & that person's hell is having to sit through the thing and pretend to act enthusiastic.

It has now been 12 months since I requested to move out of the SAVE plan into one of the "approved" income based repayment plans... Over a year of trying to make payments and a year an a half of months working for a local government that will not count towards my PSLF. I was told multiple 🧵

The "you knew the terms when you took out the loan" people never stop to think whether this is one of those public policy things that is against society's interest much in the same we we don't allow "full consenting" people sign up for indentured servitude. But by all means tell me why PSLF unfair.
Law school cost me $190,000.

I first became aware of Steve Cropper when my father showed me the Blues Brothers for the first time. I have enjoyed everything he was involved with musically throughout my life and I'm sad to see that he has passed.
