It's been four years since my wife Heather had severe strokes and needed two brain surgeries. It's been four years since she survived! Her recovery has been amazing, she's highly active and in better shape than me. We celebrate every year now and I'm so glad she's here with us 🥰

i’m pretending i’m doing better than i am. i’m cracking jokes about the pain i no longer want to hold. i watched a youtube video about lost media or something. i watched an interview with a woman who claimed to be god. bed is a home i have crawled myself into to dream in the afternoon. the land i breathe and live through is green and grey and wet with songbirds. i have easily walked in and out of my heart. it is a nest. i wish i had inner strength and the good sense to practice what i say i believe. i wish i weren’t so esoteric in my longings. i wish i could explain what it is i have lost.
