I at least finished the ridiculous unemployment things I needed to be done with for the week today so I can try and enjoy the rest of my week. We have a big Friday coming up, but we also have some worrying news.

I had no idea this morning that I'd end up on a deadline to produce a new resume without having looked at it since 2014 tonight. It was terrifying, still needs a lot of work, but it's at least a work in progress now. The unemployment people are so unhelpful it makes me angry.

There's only 106 people ahead of me on today's call trying to apply for unemployment as opposed to the 144 people the other day (because of course the website is broken). Anyway, the hold music has this melody that sounds like Nearer My God to Thee and I find that both funny and unfunny.

Our cat, Goose, has IBS bad enough that they are recommending a diet change and I am SO overwhelmed by both the pricing, the meh reviews on most of them, and that I can't seem to get a sample of them anywhere before committing to spend a lot of money on something I'm afraid he won't eat.
