A budget is a moral document. Show me your budget and I'll show you your values.

The Senate Republican budget proposal rips away health care and food from the needy to give tax cuts to the rich.

It’s immoral.

This is real life, y’all.

These aren’t “democratic talking points”—this is a real mother and real babies at risk of going hungry, all because Republicans want to be greedy.

Somebody please tell me how you can feed a growing family of 6 on $15 per day… you can’t.

So much for keeping families together. Where are the family values the GOP is always proudly yelling about?
A Venezuelan family is calling for a 2-year-old to be returned to her mother after the Trump administration deported the mother to Venezuela on Friday without the child. The toddler remains in foster care in the U.S., officials said. The girl’s father was sent to a prison in El Salvador.
A Mother and Father Were Deported Under Trump. But What Happened to Their Daughter?
The Trump administration sent the mother of a 2-year-old to Venezuela and the father to a Salvadoran prison. Their daughter remains somewhere in the United States.

The top 1% own 40% of stocks, while the bottom 40% of Americans own almost none.

Stop measuring the health of the economy by how well the stock market is doing, and start measuring it by how well working families can afford food, housing, healthcare and education.

My God.

ICE wrongfully arrested a man while his 5-year-old autistic child sat in the backseat—and shipped him off to an El Salvador prison. No due process. Now the Trump administration claims they can’t get him back.

How many more?

THIS NEEDS TO BE A BIGGER STORY.

This has always been a guiding principle for my work with community organizations. You don't have to do it all, and certainly not by yourself. Just find the others who are organizing and go be a piece of the dorsal fin!

I've personally relied on bus transportation (for 6 months due to medical issues). Losing this many routes would decimate what little mass transit we have around this metro. We need to improving this kind of infrastructure, not dismantling it - especially with the World Cup coming!

Let's hope we can stop it.
Medicaid provides 40% of the funding for community health centers.

Medicaid supports 2 out of 3 people in nursing homes.

Medicaid provides health care to 41 million children.

Trump and his Republican friends want to enact massive cuts to the program.

We won't let them.
