I miss the biking paths of NL so much 😭😭
It is so incredibly amazing that the bike cultures between Germany and the Netherlands stops right at the border. I would have imagined that it would permeate into the cities like Aachen.
While many cities work hard to make short car trips more attractive for bikes thru better infrastructure, I often think about when I advised #Groningen Netherlands on how to make some bike trips more attractive for walking, in part to help with a "parking problem" that most cities wished they had.

Ich habe dieses morgen zu Bibliothekarin in deutsch gesprochen. Ich war über das sehr glücklich. Aber, while leaving, ich habe gesagt "danke dir" und nicht "danke ihnen". Ich glaube they didn't like that very much 😭

The only place I know for sure has no grumpy Germans is the comment section of the Berlin zoo instagram page. All animals are described as Mäuschen, süß, und hübsch 🥰

Air pollution is not just a north India problem, it’s a pan India problem. The air quality is bad in east (Kolkata and Begusarai) and in North East (Guwahati). Anybody who tells you otherwise is living in denial.
