Reading a blog I wrote a year ago and it’s so obvious that I was going through grad school applications during that period—it’s filled with American English spellings. I have come a long way since then. Stopped applying to grad schools abroad.

Liberalism promised messages and ideas that it couldn’t deliver because liberal elites wanted the status quo to remain.

Finding it difficult to watch tv or films these days. I’m looking to pick up some books, probably, at least one fiction and one non-fiction. In fiction, im thinking Katabasis. For non fiction, I haven’t zeroed down a book but thematically, I’m thinking Churchill. Recommendations are welcome.

I reviewed the book 'If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies.' The central theme of the book tries to project that it is architecture agnostic while relying on an architecture-specific scenario. Though I largely empathise with the message.

Not sure if I should continue posting here. Really feel lost without the OSINT community—which is mostly seems to be thriving on LinkedIn.

I’ve got some time to myself, so I’m trying to figure out if this mountain is part of the Everest range. The river below is the Mahananda River, and the view is toward the north.

Not downloading the flight KML; I can't pay for another subscription.

One of the weirdest ritual that the urban middle class Indians have developed over the last decade or so is the practice of celebrating their birthdays at an orphanage. Yes, it’s a legit thing people do, where they go and cut a cake at an orphanage surrounded by orphan kids.

In Singapore for the next couple of days; I’m scheduled to speak at a conf. While I’m here I’m also looking to meet fellow journalists, policy wonks/AI policy researchers. Happy to have a chat over coffee :)

India’s state capacity is so low that it sort of parallels the British Raj, i.e., merely hundreds or thousands of officers ruling an entire subcontinent. The Raj had limited numbers likely due to technological constraints at that time. Our constraints today are purely artificial.

The best part about India is meeting people whose names are inspired by historical figures/events. It can range from Stalin to Saddam Hussein to George Bush to Bill Clinton. And sometimes you’ll meet Covid Kumar. Bakchodo ka desh hai 🫶🏻

Hi all.

I am looking for a full-time (remote) position while I pursue my Master’s degree in ML/DS (part-time). Prior to this, I have held a five-year career as a journalist, where I extensively applied open-source research to cover disinformation, tech policy, and trust & safety.

Thanks.
