I cannot recall a president ever threatening to withhold disaster relief as political leverage. But this is what an autocrat does. He pardons thugs and exploits suffering.
Trump on disaster aid to California: "I want to see two things in Los Angeles. Voter ID, so that the people have a chance to vote, and I want to see the water be released and come down into Los Angeles and throughout the state. After that, I will be the greatest president that CA has ever seen."

I hear there’s more thoughtful conversations on the Bluesky…so, has anyone looked at Avantor? Seems there are green shoots on the end of inventory destocking, maybe tariffs = restocking surprise? Limited China exposure & trades at a significant discount to DHR/TMO (deserved to some extent)
