As far as I'm aware, this is going to be the first basketball card to ever feature a player on the Illini women's team in college uniform. At least as far as national releases go, I know there are some 90s team sets that were stadium giveaways. This is a cool thing for the program.

If I ever had any second-guessing about my watering hole of choice for the last decade,-plus, they were playing new-wave ska when I ate dinner six hours ago and the cuts have gotten even more obscure upon return post-game may hours later

Welp, I spoke too soon. Topps should've stuck with the guy who only posted twelve plate appearances this season. This was just from one blaster (~84 cards). Pulled a /250 Jon Berti holo out of it too, so it would've been a loaded box for the PC had they been anyone else on the team.

The key to overcoming a lackluster hotel continental breakfast is just make a sammich out of what's there. Toasted white bread is your best bet for avoiding staleness, generously season and hot sauce whatever egg concoction is provided, and top with meat. The sum makes up for the individual parts.

Wish I'd been able to collect more cards of the Cubs ROY contender (Horton) but Topps decided last winter that Alcantara was going to be the Designated Rookie Insert in every single set and never adjusted. They've put all the rookie eggs in one basket the last few years too. At least it wasn't Shaw?
