Encourage students to ask for, and accept, help
Asking for help is a sign of strength not weakness, although for many it can be challenging or uncomfortable to recognise when help is needed.

Thoroughly enjoyed this at Lanternhouse, Cumbernauld this evening. Beautiful singing and excellent storytelling. #scottishopera #livemusic #livetheatre #youngartists
We're in the final stretch of Opera Highlights rehearsals before we head out on tour! 24 venues from 25 Jan - 22 March and one incredible show set in a Scottish train station. There's hellos, goodbyes, and crossed wires - just like every good opera! ♥ Featuring music from Handel to Tchaikovsky.

I once interviewed Barbara Cook who me when she first came to New York she’d go to the after-hours club The Golden Key where performers turned up to sing including Judy Garland. She taught Cook you must hold on a song’s thread until the very last note. Here’s what she meant. youtu.be/XehbAYSx2mU?...

The Darnley Sycamore. One of the most important trees in Scotland, linked directly to Mary Queen of Scots and Lord Darnley.

As the city celebrates its 850th anniversary, hopefully @glasgowcc.bsky.social can act quickly to save and care for this local historic totem. 🌳
