A basic litmus test for whether we as a society & especially our leadership are prepared to face the challenges ahead, is whether or not we allow Fox News to air any longer or if we declare it as what it actually is, which is an impediment to our national security and public health & shut it down.

Also worth point out that the erasure of disabled/immunocomp people from public spaces via mask-bans and people's reluctance to mask makes it easier for things to progress to this point. If you're worried, and you should be, by RKF's rhetoric, the best first step is to start masking in public again
