There's more of a foul on Bub than Cam there tbh

Little behind in my stream but that right hand live dribble pass from Sarr to George for the three... WHEW

Halftime: Wizards trail Pistons, 67-61

Cade leads all scorers with 21 points. CJ has 20 points to lead the Wiz.

Sarr has 8p, 6r.

Cam Whitmore has 10 on 4/5 shooting.

Kyshawn George without a FGA in that half, played just 11 min due to three personal fouls.

Something a bit different from me: Dove into Cooper Flagg's first few NBA games, exploring how the Mavericks injuries have forced the rookie into a heavy role — one he will need to grow into.

Cooper Flagg is out of position — and a bit out of sorts as a rookie
With Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis out, the 18-year-old finds himself in the backcourt as the focal point of opposing defenses.

For Cooper Flagg, this year is about transition — in more ways than one (via @byvarunshankar.bsky.social)

Bilal Coulibaly (left calf contusion) is OUT for tomorrows game against the Pistons. Khris Middleton is not on the injury report so looks like he will play.

Wiz tracker is updated from tonight's loss. What happened, what mattered from a close loss to the Mavericks.

Wizards’ skid reaches not-so-great eight with loss to Mavericks
Without an injured Bilal Coulibaly and an ill Kyshawn George, the Wizards’ defense offered very little resistance against the powerful Cavaliers in a 148-114 blowout.

In his postgame presser, Brian Keefe took the blame for a late miscue.

The Wizards fouled after Mavs got an OREB with ~17 seconds left but didn’t need to (ball didn’t hit rim, Keefe said they should’ve held off and played the nine or so seconds left on the shot clock).

CJ McCollum has made a few fantastic defensive plays late. Two steals and two blocks for the veteran.

That's back to back games where the Wizards have had an opponent miss both free throws in the fourth quarter. Arena erupts with promise of free chicken (though they'll have to wait till Monday)
November 9, 2025 at 2:13 AM
After three quarters, the Wizards lead the Mavericks, 86-82.

Just got an OREB putback
Really nice Malaki Branham minutes.

Runs a PNR w Sarr, hits him for a dunk. Good defense on a couple plays, including a nice swipe on Cisse to dislodge the ball and force a TO.

Cam Whitmore has had a nice night so far vs. Dallas. Has been good on D and playing well on offense — opportunistic when there's reason to be, getting off the ball when nothing is there, moving well off-ball as well.

Fun moment as Wiz warmed up after break. Bub was shooting and G-Wiz came over to him and took a three of his own. Bub smiled big and hit his next 5 threes.

Much better second quarter for the Wizards, who cut their deficit to 57-53 at the end of the first half.

Wiz gave up 22 points and limited Dallas to shoot 33 percent from the field. Also forced six TOs in the frame.

CJ leads all scorers with 23. Marshall has 17 for Dallas.
November 9, 2025 at 1:13 AM
Positive shooting regression is here for CJ McCollum. 21 points, 8/11 shooting for the veteran guard.
November 9, 2025 at 12:48 AM
End of the first, Wizards trail the Mavericks, 35-24.

Dallas, which entered the game with the worst offensive rating in the league, tied its season-high for 1Q points. The other time they had this much? Oct. 26 vs. the Wizards.

CJ has 14p for Wiz. Naji Marshall with 9 for Mavs.
November 9, 2025 at 12:41 AM
Wiz started well and went up 16-9. Since then, a 19-0 Mavs run gives them a 12 point lead with 2:11 left in the first quarter.

Tonight, in Washington DC, the NBA's 30th-ranked offense (Dallas) takes on the league's 29th-ranked defense (Washington).

Wizards will be without Bilal Coulibaly (calf), Khris Middleton (injury management) and maybe Kyshawn George (questionable, illness).
November 8, 2025 at 9:51 PM
On an improved Alex Sarr taking on a common comparison: Cavaliers big man Evan Mobley.
November 8, 2025 at 3:02 PM
Keefe said Whitmore’s limited minutes were just a product of wanting to see different guys in the rotation, particularly rookie Jamir Watkins.
