20 years ago i ran into a friend at a thrift store while buying a skirt. he said (with kindness not malice), “oh cool, so you’re a tranny?” i replied (erroneously), “no, im just a crossdresser.” hardly anyone knew anything about us back then. now we’re front and center in a culture war. wild times.
