All-round good records guy Dillon from Noble Records has a new series of interesting interviews with serious LA record collectors on his YT channel. This is the first of three he's released so far, with more to come every week until the end of the year I think.

Blog update: In February 1986, Andrew Eldritch reached the indie number one spot with a record put out to prohibit Wayne Hussey from using a Sisters of Mercy related band name. Effectively a legal block on 45, it's as dull as reading dense legislation, but the drama behind it; that's another story.

The first time I haven't bought a new Mountain Goats album on release day since probably Heretic Pride in 2008. First listen of the day will be to stream it to see whether I'm missing out.
