Today's episode of my @themountaingoats.bsky.social newsletter/podcast is about self-reference, expanding ambition, and being further along in your own timeline. Which is really sort of what it's all been about! It's 2018 and the song is 'Younger.' thirtyyearslater.substack.com/p/2018-younger

I can imagine there's quite a story there. Looking forward to it.

Same here with those two. This one was far more linear and self-contained, but it still threw me at times. I might give him a rest for a while before picking another of his off the stack.

Well, another Murakami under the belt to leave me totally confused as usual. Pulled this one out of the box I picked up last week as my next choice #NowReading

This Peruvian Alex Turner impersonator - from what I'm guessing is Lima's answer to Stars In Their Eyes - is the funniest thing I've seen all week

After watching Squid Game, Netflix thinks I'm fully invested in Korean shows. Extraordinary Attorney Woo, a light-hearted drama about an autistic attorney, did pull me in though and hit me right in the feels.

I thought I'd taken my catch up photo for the last couple of days, but then played one more. #WhatIPlayedHashtag

Well that's odd. I no longer seem to exist on the map.

The adverts before Avatar were the best 3D I've seen in the cinema.

I think channel 4 started showing NFL in 86, which I think was the first time it had had any decent coverage over here. To this day I have no idea why I picked the Jets as my team.

That was my first Superbowl too, and I've disliked the Patriots for forty years! 🤣

I'll be trying to avoid the result and watching the fifteen minute highlight reel on YouTube in the morning before work.

There was a time, when MrsJ worked nights, when a packet of these and a bottle of red wine would be my evening meal.
And now YOU want some too...

Trying to be all patriotic in the curling, but also not wanting the Italian lady to be sad.

There are probably loads, but Tennant and Lowe jump to mind.

It is good. Hawke is excellent.

There's the rub. I've sold a few bits recently, which have topped up the PayPal should anything important come along which needs buying, but I have loads more stuff that I should be selling and don't have the energy to list 🙄 A stall at the car boot this summer will be required, I'm sure.

I saw Real Live and Hard Rain for a couple of quid a piece on CD and decided against. I'm cutting back on the buying, so I told myself I was being good, it's #NotACollection after all.

I held back the other day from ticking two more off the piece of paper in my wallet 🤣

I feel like posting these as a thread isn't a great idea. Anyway, CDs during work, records this evening. #WhatIPlayedHashtag
