Is it a goal of freezing so much gov funding just to see who complains? Are some/all of the EOs trial balloons to see what it's possible to get away with?
Or is it: Serve 'em shit sandwiches. If enough complain, take it back to the kitchen and bring it out with a pickle on top.

Are provocations of Greenland, Canada, Mexico & Columbia meant to increase tension, to inflame mistrust and anger in Americans, to be ignited into greater furor by some catalyst like a terrorist attack on US interests or soil? Because that's how you get emergency laws to unleash presidential power.

Building communities of people with a shared vision is good medicine. It heals our wounds, puts something positive in the world, it welcomes others to shelter and contribute. We all need to connect at this interpersonal level to weather the storms that rage around us.
