This picture captures perfectly the state of our nation. A wall full of values that build strength of character, as we were taught growing up, and as we have taught our children. Read the words before they disappear. How long will it be until America can hold these ideals again with honesty?

Are provocations of Greenland, Canada, Mexico & Columbia meant to increase tension, to inflame mistrust and anger in Americans, to be ignited into greater furor by some catalyst like a terrorist attack on US interests or soil? Because that's how you get emergency laws to unleash presidential power.

Building communities of people with a shared vision is good medicine. It heals our wounds, puts something positive in the world, it welcomes others to shelter and contribute. We all need to connect at this interpersonal level to weather the storms that rage around us.
