🖤 Goth. Semi retired.
🏳️‍⚧️ Trans AF.
Formula E's first free practice session of the year has been delayed by an hour - which has led to some great off the cuff TV coverage by Sam Bird in particular. Much more technical insight than usual. Love it.

So Tim Davie has resigned from the BBC over a failure to be impartial in relation to Trump.

Once.

The BBC has failed to be impartial about trans people since Davie's tenure started.

Systematically and regularly.

So why did he not resign over these?

The new filter release looks suspiciously like a bit of @rob-sheridan.com artwork that I use as a desktop background... But feels kinda un-Rob somehow?

When I hear that the singer of Moloko has been radicalised by the American evangelical Christian-funded anti-trans campaign, I'm reminded that Sing It Back is one of the worst songs ever to have been held in regard by anyone ever.

Autism is a natural divergence from neurotypicality. It's normal & not the tragedy these clowns are making it out to be.

Transness is a natural divergence from cisnormativity. It's normal & not the tragedy these clowns are making it out to be.

Just deal with people being different than you.

Hi, I noticed your Labour colleague has shared their thoughts on the EHRC consultation outcomes regarding transgender rights. As your constituent, I’d be interested to know if you share similar views on this issue?
Deeply concerned that changes to trans rights could be approved without MPs or the public seeing details. This risks undermining accountability on issues affecting lives and freedoms. Proposals must face scrutiny before approval. Everyone deserves to know what’s being decided in their name.

I've discovered how to make a passable Deadsy synth-guitar tone with my music rig so I'll be spending the rest of the week covering Commencement note-for-note (and continuing to ignore the fact I should be making my portfolio website)

Watching the Odido guys talking through thier multibrand design system - and while it's great, all it's doing is reinforcing to me how ahead of the curve my old design systems team at Vodafone UK was when we were all still together. Robyn & Alex crushed this same setup a year and a half ago

Schools are banning discussion of trans identity and the Online Safety Bill will restrict access to social media based on age. The obvious end goal of this is to hide any mention of trans rights (and eventually all LGBT content) behind an adult-only moderation filter.

Everyone should read this THREAD by @goodlawproject.org in conjunction with my own research on the effects of the puberty-blocker ban. All Labour MPs supporting Starmer-Streeting transphobic assault on the lives of trans children are responsible for the ongoing deaths of trans children.

Been staring at all of the implementations of the EU Energy Rating cards I can find across mobile phone retailers today. Why are they all such inaccessible garbage? If we're not careful this will become another well-meaning EU rule that makes the internet worse, not better.

This is an absolute scandal - the flawed justification for denying trans youth any reasonable healthcare, spiking suicide rates in that demographic. A reminder that this Labour government can't be trusted.
Just out! Our peer-reviewed critique of the Cass Review has been published by BMC Medical Research Methodology. Please read and share. We show that the Cass Review is fatally flawed and should not be the basis for policy or practice in transgender healthcare.
