Having gone through this with my wife to secure my daughter's future. It's been a degrading and horrible experience for us to ensure she has her best future. We shouldn't have to grovel, fight and put children's futures into uncertainty. We need this reform with children at the heart of it.
In North Northamptonshire, over 3,300 students rely on EHCPs to support their needs. Labour came after the elderly, they've come aftered the disabled, and now they come after disabled children. We cannot allow #LabourCuts to continue to attack the most vulnerable in society.

The SEND system urgently needs fixing, but Ministers mustn't use that as an excuse to balance the books on the backs of disabled children.

The Welfare Reform Bill is being reviewed today, we must consider the impact this will have by pushing 250,000 people into poverty including 50,000. Cutting PIP will do nothing to help people into work, and slashing carers allowance will only hurt people. The Gov't must change course!

I am increasingly disappointed that the concerns of the #LGBTQ+ community over what the Supreme Court judgement means for them are not yet being addressed. I have written to the Government asking them to make clear how trans and non binary rights will be protected.
