just found out the puppy bowl (12mil) got twice as many viewers as the tpusa halftime show (6mil) and im extremely disappointed at how few viewers that is. the puppy bowl deserved better.

I feel crazy at how everyone is acting like this is normal. These are concentration camps being built right before our eyes. These buildings are not meant to house human beings. People will be caged like cattle and die.

So many trans and queer people I know (myself included) who came out later in life were brought up in conservative religious bubbles. It’s actually insane how common it is.

Sheltering kids, outlawing expression… it just leads to a lot of us coming out of the closet way later than we should’ve.

Watching them scrub queer people off the internet and hide anything about queer identity from kids is so scary to me because I could see exactly how my life might have played out differently had I not had access to all those “adult” things as a teenager.

Lester, half-drunk, probably having trouble processing the stimulating environment: "So'z... uhh. It don't matter if we get it right? *hic*..." The compass man leans deviously over his stand. "Oh, !Que tonto eres! You should DEFINITELY get it right. Or I'll make sure you suffert he consequences. He appearances underneath Boone's face, pointing a finger upwards. "WHAT consequences, I hear you ask?" He points his finger off to the side, underneath Echo's chin, "That's yet to be determined! But I'll give you a hint..." He hangs upside down over Romy, both fingers pointed together, "Don't answer WRONG, and you won't suffer them!" As he waltzes away on the stage, Lester takes a swig of his booze and says, "... I'll sit this'n out, thanks." Compass man: "!EQUIVADO! Now who's ready to play for a way? Let's get started!"

The compass man regards the group. "Now. You've all got somewhere you need to go. And I, the All-Knowing Compass, have valiantly arrived in your time of need!" Echo gives him a bored look. "Sure. Okay. Just point us in the right direction, 'O Valiant One." Compass man, in excited shock: "The right... DIRECTION?" He then begins to dance and sway, revealing several signs and cave entrances behind him, while his purple bow tie extends into a scarf with arrows pointed at the ends. "Why - there's SO MANY WAYS to choose from! But none of you nincompoops seem to know where you're going. So very lost, it seems! !Que triste!" The page composition has Boone, Echo and Romy's faces stacked in profile on one side, while the compass man looks down at them thoughtfully from the other side. Echo: "Of COURSE we know where we're going! We're looking for Alex. Any idea where he's gone." "Alex, hm? Looking for him before you look for yourselves? Que triste indeed." He beams condescendingly with his hands on his hips, while Echo continues digging at him. "... look. It's a straight-forward request. Are you gonna help us out or not?" The compass man starts wiggling his noodle arms in a playful and crazed manner bordering on uncanny. "Si, si. I think I can show you a way. But first... a game we must play!" Echo forces a sheepish smile. "... must we?" The compass's large, mitted hand swipes Boone's bell collar out of his hoof. Boone: "HEY... !" With the light source gone, the group is now in the dark again, their eyes giving expressions of shock, confusion and anxiety. The mitted hand flips a light switch, and suddenly, Boone, Echo, Lester and Romy are all transported onto a flashy gameshow stage with blaring rainbow lights and purple decor. All of them are in color coded sparkly costumes with top hats and bowties and suits, and color-coded stands, all with their names on them. Boone is in red, Echo is in blue, Lester is in yellow, and Romy is in green. Compass Man, off-screen, in a singsongy voice: "TA-DAAAAAAA!" An establishing shot sets the scene further, as we see the compass man standing on a piece of floating stage floor, looking down upon the four of them from their stands, which are all loosely tethered to long teetering structures of rock that seem to extend far down into a dark void below. Compass ManL "Bienvenida, dreamers, cave dwellers, and stinky smellers! Today we shall play:" *a screen in the background displays "What's My Way?". "Here's how it works..." The compass man explains the rules into a microphone while the four gameshow contestants are tossed around on their spiraling rock towers. "I ask you a question. You ANSWER the question. HOW you answer determines the WHERE that you go! Simple, ?si?"

Lester speaks to the two of them with his back turned. "What's a couple'a chumps like you doin' here anyway? Ain't NOBODY come visitin' ole Les in his dump. And why would ya?" He turns around, grinning a bit threateningly. "Nah. I'd say you got OTHER incentives. Yer here 'cuz you want somethin;. Am I right? Or am I correct? *hic*" Boone sweats and grins widely with his arms behind his head, trying to play it casual, while Romy averts their eyes guiltily. Boone then pumps his fist and puts on a friendly act. "Aw... c'mon, Les! WE'RE PALS! Just lookin' for a friendly hangout with our favorite friend-o!" He leans down and whispers to Romy, "... a little help, buddy?" Romy, caught off guard, and fully unable to lie convincingly, adds, "Y-yeah! A hangout. Like... a car ride?" Realizing she gave away the game accidentally by being too honest, she continues, "I MEAN - a bike? My bike? A bike... ride... without a car..." Boone waves his hands back and forth from behind, urging Romy to stop.

A dinging sounds from outside the door. Boone pauses from over the table, grinning sheepishly at Echo, who stares at him, a bit irritated, while spikes from the cactus stick out of her fur. "..... err. Hold that thought." He leaps up suddenly, shocking Romy. "COMRADES! Our assistance is henceforth summoned! Let's roll!" He then rushes toward the dinging door. "Calm down, we're comin' WE'RE COMIN'! Yeesh!" Echo calls Romy to attention by softly saying their name. "Romy." She further instructs Romy as her superior, "That means you too. Go on." Romy, nervously, "O... okay..." Romy walks out with Echo following her from behind. Romy self-consciously hunches, feeling Echo's curious eyes on her. 'I can feel her eyes boring into me. Why? Why is she staring at me?' As they make their way out, Boone is leaned against the front desk, talking to a green spotted frog lady wearing a pearl necklace. He's yammering on about something. "Gee, those were good times, huh? Kinda reminds me of... oh! There was this joke I heard once, where this guy, he - .... uh, wait. What were we talkin' about again?" Romy directs their attention immediately to the pearl necklace the frog lady is wearing, which is very similar to the pearl she saw on her nightstand that morning... and there's a spot in the necklace where a pearl seems to be clearly missing. 'Wait a minute. Is that... that necklace..."
