I’ve had multiple where I’m working on SlumberTown and the story or art is super incoherent for some reason (like starting inside a high school).
Had one where I was Romy, on a boat, and witnessed Bernie Sanders shooting hoops.
One where the trio were Warrior Cats. Also on a boat for some reason.

Sometimes I wish height surgery wasn’t THE most risky and complicated surgery out there — and not just for dysphoria reasons (height being a major reason trans guys struggle to pass) but because this society truly wasn’t designed for anyone under 5’4.

What’s really weird is that I’ve never really felt like I could honestly call any of the work I do “queer” or “LGBT+” either, even though the majority of my characters are queer.
Silly because ace is part of LGBT+ 100% — it just doesn’t seem to be what people are looking for under that label.

I feel like being Ace in furry can be difficult sometimes, even if you're generally secure in inhabiting that identity. People can evaluate you differently - as odd, withholding, wrong, somehow running "counter" to what we otherwise tend to most readily celebrate about queerness.

This. THIS. Normie friends always mention how furries must be rich to buy art and suits (and like any demographic, I'm sure *a few* are) but for most it's a passion that they work hard and save for, and they *value artwork and artists*.
This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.
