Turns out you can’t chisel ice with a separated shoulder. Spouse was struggling to breathe & had to seek urgent care - since the shoulder isn’t healed, the chest muscles went haywire & are preventing the lungs from doing their job. Now he has to chill & monitor his oxygen till he heals. #fuckice

Speaking from an Altar Guild perspective, I love the idea of a “Protest Stole”.
The Episcopal Church has put together a very impressive toolkit for protesting, including tips for clergy in particular. Truly inspiring. This is how Christians ought to be engaging the moment.

We are learning more about the lives that were lost in the horrific crash between flight 5342 and the Blackhawk helicopter. There were 60 passengers, 4 flight crew and 3 military personnel on the helicopter, for a total of 67 lives lost.
