We deserve a world-class fully integrated public and active transport app for Dublin!

Other European cities have had them for years: plan, pay, ride, all in one place.

My piece in @thejournal.ie this morning.

Opinion: The people of Dublin deserve a proper public transport app
It’s frustrating to have to switch between different apps for one journey instead of it all being in one place, writes Dr Ola Løkken Nordrum.

A short piece from Vivienne Baillie about a campaign to try publish a new Pat Ingoldsby collection. Currently,15 days left & the Kickstarter looking likely not to succeed. This would be really disappointing. Please share. The man's work is one of the great loves of my life.

I have no vote but having looked at the island as a whole, Panti Bliss seems like the only successor to Michael D that is worthy of it.

My take on the latest greyhound injuries stats - 1 in 8 racing greyhounds injured in 2024. About 1 in 15 killed. The State subsidised the sport with €19.8m in funding last year:

Time to re-evaluate exactly what greyhound racing contributes to Irish life

A survey ahead of last year’s election showed that 70% of the electorate either oppose or strongly oppose the State’s funding of greyhound racing
