This is without doubt one of the finest investigative pieces of journalism I've read in 20 years. Absolutely kudos to the @dublininquirer.com . This article alone was worth this years subscription fee .

The more people that choose to walk, bike and ride public transit to get around cities, the better cities work for everyone, including drivers.

EVERYONE.

There’s no “war on cars,” just an opportunity for more successful cities.

You’re being lied to. It’s time we tell #TheTruthAboutTraffic.

Pics I've seen from the SD conference, people look like people I know, dressed normally: white, black, brown, youngold, normal gender balance. FF ard fheis looks like a GAA county board, FG like a golf club dinner.
Uplifting weekend of hope at the @social-democrats.bsky.social National Conference in Cork. There are policies in place, there are ordinary people at the heart of those policies & there are the people to deliver those policies. Change is gradually approaching on the horizon. Proud to be part of it.
