I law. Broker than the 10 commandments and even harder to follow. My alma mater no longer has a university the football team can be proud of.
Porter Moser shits himself on TV so much he should run for President.

The only drama in this game is trying to figure out how OU blows a 16-point lead.

I will vote for a candidate who promises to put an interstate from Mobile to Atlanta. More than half the drive is just getting to the Gump. A direct drive would cut a good two hours off.

Something that’s become abundantly clear over the last eight years or so. Libertarians break into the following groups:
1. Principled belief in extremely limited government;
2. Just here for the drugs or pedophilia;
3. I hate brown/black/gay/not like me people.

Oh no. Not that. Not exactly what we want. That would be awful.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune said Thursday that demands made by Democrats for new restrictions on federal immigration officers are “unrealistic” and warned that the Department of Homeland Security will shut down next week if they do not work with Republicans and the White House.

Today I wrote checks that effectively wiped out all of my debt but my mortgage and student loan.

BUT THERE’S SO MUCH SHINY STUFF OUT THERE.

How do you politely tell another partner that if he fucks with your writing again you’ll stab him in the neck?

I don’t mind edits from people who know how to write. I do from people who write like constipated 1Ls.

Dunno, why are Harvard and MIT getting more NIH funding than IU, Notre Dame, and Purdue?

The latter three are great schools, don’t get me wrong, but…
JIM BANKS (R-Indiana): Massachusetts, which is virtually the same size as my state (?!), received nearly $3 billion last year.

Can you explain why schools on the coast seem to get more NIH funding than schools like my state, which is doing a lot of research as well?

This. Is. How. Natural. Selection. Works.

For all their lip service to eugenics, conservative incels don’t understand that in strictly Darwinian terms, they are UNFIT.

Famously, Jesus instructs us to only love those inside your house, not neighbors.
Q: Pope Leo cited Matthew 25:35 to critique Donald Trump's mass deportation agenda. How would you respond to Pope Leo in scripture?

MIKE JOHNSON: Sovereign borders are biblical and right and just. It's not because we hate the people on the outside. It's because we love the people on the inside.

So it’s pretty cool that OU is actually going to get a new arena even if it’s off-campus and the people who live near the future site are pretty angry about it.

By the time it’s done we should be just about ready to replace Moser’s replacement.

While I understand those who might be distressed at Judge Biery’s invocation of scripture, as an atheist it doesn’t bother me. We are not a Christian nation, but we are, by and large, a nation of Christians. At least some of the Founders felt that God was the source of human rights and dignity.
