I hesitate to call it "butchering" since they still managed to tell a passable story, but holy shit is the second season of HBO's TLOU a disappointment. It's clearly trying to be its own version of this story, but it's kinda just an objectively lesser version of that story. Hate to see it

It is crazy to me how one of the best games I've ever played was built within Minecraft, using and bending the limitations of its "game engine", and giving me an experience so unfortunately obscure that I have few people to relate it to but also one I will remember for a long time.
