The other aspect of this story is, academics and NHS staff could and would have done this better and essentially for free if they were given the same data access as Faculty, but they are not allowed it. Government policy is deliberately to frustrate pro bono / non-profit health data research.
I dug behind the industry paywall to find out, what *are* the geniusly clever things that AI can predict will increase NHS A&E pressures?

You’ll never guess

- Flu
- Winter
- Icy weather
- Friday nights
- Christmas
- New Years Eve

Jeez, Dom’s old mates at Faculty AI (o yes) really saw Wes coming

or a new study shows that either, or a combination of:
▪️reduced viral emission (bcos air cleaner added several days later from initial readings)
▪️changes to window ventilation
▪️presence of an air cleaner
see below for fag packet calc to show it can't all be due to air cleaner...
A new study shows that air cleaners can reduce up to 98,1 % of viral load in the air of a #COVID patient's room with confirmed positive airborne viral RNA.
Rooms with HEPA ventilation had zero virus detected.
