War Between The Land And The Sea is exquisite so far. Makes sense a creature from the Pertwee era of Doctor Who would feature in a very heavy-handed environmentalist story, as Pertwee's era was VERY socially conscious. Very excited to see how it all plays out.

really does bother me when people talk about how Davies "fumbled" this new era of Doctor Who. Outside the lacklustre finales (and i liked the first season finale!) I think this era has had some outright phenomenal episodes.

star wars fans spent the better part of a decade completely blasting the sequels, calling all the characters awful, wishing disney would retcon them; then adam driver comes out like "we were gonna make another one but disney said no" and star wars fans are baffled why?
i literally could not think of anything i want less out of star wars in the future than another movie about kylo ren.
