“The truth always lies somewhere in the middle” has to be one of my least favorite phrases. Sometimes, one side is actually truthful and one side is actually malicious and lying!

I think it's quite worrying how easily some university lecturers suggest using chatgpt to understand certain subjects or difficult concept.

'A bit of a complicated explanation - use chatgpt to summarize or explain it to you'

I guess I just expect academics to encourage more independent thinking?

I love to be told that feminism has failed women by women whose careers and ability to flourish in public life, let alone have a credit card, only exist because of feminism

Here are a few reasons off the top of my head why creators don’t LOVE AI:
1. It has been used to create videos of them saying inappropriate things
2. It has been used to sexually harass them
3. It has been used to scam their fans
4. It directly competes with their business and devalues their work

No you can't. Telling a computer to paint something for you is not remotely the same as painting something yourself, what is wrong with these people

I need social media accounts of brands, magazines etc to stop using black and white portraits of people for ads, interviews and such. Every single time I have a brief heart attack thinking someone has died. Every time.

My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

No one will ever sum up Bari Weiss's career more succinctly than "what's the point of standards"
“Standards will be eliminated or severely cut back. Bari has told people that she wants to get rid of standards and is shocked that they have so much power. She asks ‘What’s the point of standards?’

Sometimes, to spice up a normal Tuesday, I like being a bit free and unhinged with my likes on Instagram. Posts, stories just willy-nilly likes. (Immediately regret the story likes, but we keep them anyways)

Your jokes about Trump are extremely insensitive to those of us who are also bereft that we didn’t get the Nobel peace prize

If people are defending Trump by claiming the letter to epstein was fake because of his signature I have to laugh. My signature has never once looked exactly the same. Genuinely don't think I could manage it even if I try

The stuff Jeffrey Epstein’s friends felt comfortable saying and drawing in grotesque detail with their names attached knowing they would not face consequences is the kind of thing I think of when I think about rape culture and how sexual violence against girls and young women is actually glorified

My favorite little quirk I see in pretty much all kdramas, cdramas and Thai dramas is the seriousness with which they treat any type of scrape. You grazed your arm? Let's make it a very big deal and spend an emotionally charged 5 minute scene on proper wound care. It's genuinely sweet.

Everyone - once again - happily letting AI make something in their likeness when we (a) have privacy concern to do with info tracked and saved about us on the internet in general, and, (b) know AI uses insane amounts of energy and water to run is genuinely pissing me off.

I'm not sure which video to post--the fifteen paramedics in their last moments as one of them prays amid gunfire, the journalist being burned alive, the man holding a headless toddler, the people blown into the air, or the young man quietly rocking the shrouded body of a child.

It's a genocide.

I dislike JK Rowling but even more than that I’m confounded by her. Who wants to make their own lives hell about something that has fuck all to do with them and could never negatively impact them in any way, even hypothetically! How could asexual people bother you? Just leave them alone Joanne!

This lady wakes up every day being so hateful that clearly the high has worn off and she has to keep hating more and more groups trying to chase it, one day we’re going to wake up and she’s going to have a diatribe against bicyclists
JK Rowling is vile, and in no way an ally to LGBTQ+ people.
Asexual people continue to be persecuted through forced sexualisation. People stigmatise their clothing choices and behaviors which lead to harassment. There’s need for increased visibility and education on this issue.

Andrew Tate being allowed to come to the U.S. and avoid facing trial for sex trafficking in Romania is beyond stomach-churning. This man is a HUGE influencer and uses his platform/following to further abuse women who have accused him. Now he won’t face justice, reaffirming his lies to his followers
