I've just thought an extraterrestrial thought. Through the years my name has been carried on many space probes/landers that have journeyed through the Solar System. Every time I've done it has increased the possibility of an alien discovering me and coming for a visit. Hope they like tea! 🔭 🧪

Metallic materials with small grains tend to be stronger because they have more grain boundaries, which impede deformation. Researchers have now shown that under explosive deformation finer-grained metals are softer, not harder.
