@furfest.org I do not agree with removing exotic-erotics in reaction to a social media hate campaign. I expect you to protect your affiliates, not to set the precedent of caving in to puritanical pressure.

It's that giving time of year again, so this is a reminder that no matter how they try to dress it up, the Salvation Army is not a charity.

All 50,000 panels of the National AIDS Memorial Quilt has been fully digitized.

You can search Duane's name and see the panel he made. And someone else made a panel for him, too.

Hahaha, right?! Or what about mandatory disclosures for the discrepancy between the salaries of the CEO and their lowest paid worker? That would be so funny, right?! Let’s do it as a funny joke!!!

Cursed drinking combo:

Chasing jia fan chiew shaoxing wine with collard green water.

Surprisingly it works very well. I got a chef to corroborate that it indeed somehow works.

Corporations are relying on shame to stop folks from fighting to keep porn around. An amazing way to fight against this stuff is to simply not be ashamed of sex and sexuality; even if you think some of it is "cringe". You'll do yourself a favor by eliminating your shame about sex.
When you fight censorship, you're also fighting for things you might not exactly like and it's something you gotta get comfortable with. I promise you, the fetish game you turn your nose up at is NOT YOUR ENEMY. You must think of the bigger picture, you must not fall for the bait.

Idk how many times people are gonna have to say "stop using ai it is literally killing us" before people listen.

No not even as a joke. don't go near this shit.
In Morrow County, healthy adults were coming down with unexplained medical conditions, including diseases that usually afflicted the elderly.

In a survey of 30 homes, at least 25 miscarriages and a half dozen people living with one kidney were reported.

So apparently gay rams are often killed because they don't tend to make more rams.

So this gay farmer buys the gay rams to keep them alive and sells the wool!
am I even awake right now?

Love this. "People who only give you a feed of shitty things that are happening, but never actionable items in order to make a change are doing you a massive disservice." You should stay informed, but being informed of shitty things you can't help is just adding unresolvable stress.

There's a pretty big truth here and that is that AI is being pushed BECAUSE they want to disrupt the well-being of artists. Capitalists hate what they can't exploit and artists with integrity piss them off (especially when the arts are filled with women, queers and folks of every color).
Saw some gig posters using Ai and that’s no good. Gig posters are a lot of artists first gig, they’re fucking with the ecosystem of students getting £20 so I’m making stickers because thermal label printers are our cheapest propaganda tool
