Pete said it best.
Last night was a thumping from coast to coast. Across the country, voters rejected chaos and cynicism – and chose leaders who are focused on the cost of everyday life.

Me too.
I want the United States government to ensure that every American has food to eat, a place to live, a safe neighborhood, transportation to move around & work, clean water to drink, free health care & free education.

Don’t care what label you give that.

That’s what I want my taxes to pay for.

An estimated 15.7 million workers use SNAP. It’s a lifeline for those in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps.

Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

Fellow photographers, if you’re in the market for a new camera, you might want to act fast. Thanks to the senile old man in the Oval, camera prices are going up.

It’s not about one man.
Van Hollen: And it's also important that people understand this case is not just about one man. It's about protecting the constitutional rights of everybody who resides in the United States of America.

Trump has taken the most powerful country in the world, with the greatest alliances, and the strongest economy, and flushed it down the toilet based on his understanding of politics in 1984 and trade deficits.

I also have a mother who depends on Medicaid for her nursing home, and we have my husband’s brother in a state veterans home who also depends on Medicaid. There are millions of us in the same situation and you’d better believe we’re watching this closely.

Amen, Mrs. Betty Bowers. Amen.
If a deranged president intentionally destroying the country's economy with a ludicrous obsession (and misunderstanding) of tariffs *isn't* justification for invoking the 25th Amendment, I honestly can't imagine any scenario that would be.

I think this is the real problem. Selfishness with a side of absence of empathy.
Every single Trump voter who regrets their decision (the list grows daily) only does so because his policies harmed them personally, and not someone else.

This.
Forever reject the trope that Dems lost because we were too “woke.”

Trumpers voted for an incompetent, treasonous con man because THEY were too hateful.

It’s that simple. A first grader could be made to understand the concept.
Tariffs like these raise prices and don't work.

But if you skipped class the day we all learned that – here's a refresher:

Booker the Relentless, amIright?
April 1, 2025 at 10:32 PM
Absolutely.
I'm not a programming guy but MSNBC and CNN should be airing this Cory Booker thing in the same way you take over programming if there's a no-hitter or a basketball player with 60 points in three quarters. It's a physical feat! Cut in for this kind of thing. Costs nothing, gooses ratings, good TV.
