Cat distribution system happened. Neighbour found this kitten nearly dead a few weeks ago. No sign of an owner so I guess we have a new cat. They are still very unsure of people and this only happens after lots of spitting. In isolation from the other cats until we can the fiv/flv test done

Quit looking at my butthole creep!

I hate myself for being the person who picks up the toy animal and sniggers that they sculpted a butthole but someone put a LOT of effort into this spinosaurus cloaca and I feel it needs acknowledgement. Do you think it was a management decision or did the sculptor choose to go above and beyond?

For the first time in a few years the toads spawned in the garden pond, toadlets are super exciting but also stressful, don't think I can ever go in the garden again for fear of squishing them

We've loads of toad tadpoles (toadpoles?) in the pond this year, this is just a small group of them. Only had them one other year and then none for ages. Dunno why they are back now. It's fun to have them but i dread when the garden is full of tiny baby toads and walking anywhere is a massive stress

Not long until Grampian pride 2025 and I'm starting to get excited for it. We always volunteer stewarding the parade and it's always an excuse to rock the best leggings ever made. Combined with a high Vis vest and trying to look all official is an interesting vibe

Also one of the best bottle nose dolphin spots in the world. Wasn't even a boat trip to see them, they just turned up. The castle in the background was one of the default windows 7 home screens.

It's easy to forget how amazing home can and have to remind myself that 20 minutes away are some of the best seabird cliffs in the world. Everyone goes for the puffins but I think the razorbills are cooler. Not sure if puffin indifference just comes with being Scottish.

Posting old stuff to try and make my timeline interesting, been putting trail cams in the woods by the house for years and it took 3 to get a colour shot of a fox. Been finding pine marten poop in the garden so setting the camera up to try and get pics, know it will just be lots of cats though

This is Sophie, had her for eight years now. She's a rescue so no idea how old she actually is. She will try to eat you if you hassle her but she's very good and never flicks hair at me. She's just shed here and is doing the chill out lying flat on their belly thing they often do afterwards
