I've seen people doing it from double coated dogs as well. Good excuse to get a samoyed.

Yeah badgers struggle with roads. Mink are super controversial as they are descended from fur farm escapees and mess up ground nesting birds. They are so cool though and I refuse to blame them for humans fucking up. People however always just deal with a problem in the easiest way which is to kill

My wife has said she's relieved we're not in north America as she knows I'd try and be friends with raccoons and end up regretting it.
I shouldnt complain about Scotland, we've got foxes, badgers, pine martens and hedgehogs in our garden regularly and loads of otters around though not in the garden

Ahhh so jealous! No opossums in Scotland so I've never met one in person, it's on the bucket list though which people find weird. Is it unusual for them to take food from your hand?
