Were 90s kids clamoring for a Batman cartoon with 1930s Art Deco aesthetics? Is that what the market demanded? Or did some really smart creative people have a vision and make a genre-defining hit that sustained 20 years of TV shows? If you want success look for vision, not just metrics.

This past weekend we had dinner with our friend who is a Sbux union leader. She clued me into 3 things.

Starbucks has not signed a contract with the workers for 4 years.

Starbucks has more union violations than any other company in the US.

Shareholders are demanding they settle.

Ref sheet I did a couple of months back for Ambrose Teeling, an engi and one of my mains from #gw2. An aetherblade during the attack on Lion's Arch, he saw the Commander mopping the floor with his comrades, went no thank you, and quit on the spot.
