There are reports that ICE was at South Station in Boston, taking photos of everyone coming off the trains.

Photos. Of everyone.

When we get rid of this administration, we must also insist on destroying whatever sinister database these fucks are feeding.

Yeah, I grew up in Oakdale. It was a single stop-light town when I left for college. So much has changed.

I grew up in the central valley in the 80s, and it's been disappointing to see what silicon valley has done to the area. Hopefully that ship gets righted.

Don’t be!! It’ll be the 49r’s turn again.

Hubby is a huge Bronco fan and we have enjoyed seeing the sons of Bronco’s coach and receiver doing so well in SF.

What Seattle has agin (for now) is an incredible defense. That’s what made them great 12 years ago too. Chemistry tools.

I appreciate the optimism, but it is hard to think about a Presidential candidate, when we are under authoritarian rule by a man who historically breaks the law to remain in power. Such as; vote manipulation, bribes/blackmail, & inciting & funding an Insurrection. This isn't going to simply be over.

Just like being anti-fascist today, it was an obvious no brainer to be anti-war
But there were people who established their personalities attacking anti-war people calling the protesters pinko commies

And they took these pro-nixon racist hateful opinions thru the rest of their lives until they died

She was naked because napalm had burned off her clothes.
I grew up next to a military base and watched where they practiced with live napalm in the Wichita Mountains.
It was unimaginably cruel. As bad as poison gas.

Nixon's enemies list where protesters & political opponents were brutalized, threats from FBI J Edgar Hoover on the life of Martin Luther King, CIA operation MKultra giving unsuspecting civilians LSD & other drugs, secret illegal CIA operations in Cambodia and Laos.

Doesn't repeat, but it rhymes.

Not really. There was a whole lot of behind the scenes timidity and soft propaganda spreading McNamara's lies every night on TV. A turning point was when Walter Chronkite turned against the war and the real Washington Post published the Pentagon papers showing how Nixon had been lying to Americans.

There was the news of Nixon's illegal constitutional violations and corrupt hidden money funding the "ratfu**ers" secret operatives of which Roger Stone was one (remember him?), Spiro Agnew taking cash bribes in the vice president office and FBI and CIA attacks on innocent civilians in California.

There were also military murders of unarmed white people that *started* turning the tide. Remember it still took a very long time and Nixon had a fear and resigned. Trump is unlikely to choose to resign.

The institutionalized murders of black people didn't change anything. Just like Hispanics today

History doesn't repeat itself but it does rhyme.
My generation had Nixon who looks like a Cub Scout compared to the Heritage Foundation billionaires fronted by Trump.
It was (primarily) non violent overwhelming popular opposition that recovered democracy.

But there was an uncorrupted free press.
