One of the things I've found really interesting about working on Automaton Heart is finding new ways to make traversing big open spaces interesting and free.

My biggest gripe with most existing open-world games is that they aren't truly open and the way you approach the world is pre-determined.

Small, free act you can do to bring some good in this world: add positive reviews to ALL you Steam games, especially the small indies. You don't need to write anything smart, just "game good" is enough. Every positive steam review tips the algorithm and helps your fav artists get more sales

Interesting to see in a 3D game.

Definitely makes a game feel really bare and 'technical'.

This evening I kept thinking about how much I love the black skies often seen in arcade and home console games of the 80s and early 90s.
