People choose all sorts of ways to enter different dimensions beyond our conscious understanding.

Me? I choose Ayrton Senna in Monaco
As this Valentine’s Day 12-Hour approaches midway, I wanted to share some thoughts on why Bathurst is my favorite track on the planet

Would love to hear what people think!

Currently imagining a NOAPS race around the Mountain

Seems a good mid-race question to raise–

Is there a better “streets won’t forget” driver of the past decade than Jordan Cox and his Civic?

Is there anyone else even close?
is Jordan Cox the most 'streets won't forget' driver of the last decade

because I feel like *everyone* knows who he is because of those clips, which considering where he's actually raced is pretty incredible

If you asked me 3 hours ago if an American car would lead Bathurst on its debut, I’d say the Mustang might have a chance given its starting position and lineup

Well, an American car does lead on its debut at Bathurst

Dad and I have been scheming to try to get to Le Mans next year for the first time

But every passing minute of the 12h makes me ponder if we should consider the journey down under instead

Very un-WRT like decision to keep a damaged car on-track.

Were they hoping that it would just not continue to come apart?

‘Wildlife’ is in fact another way to talk about the first time through Hell Corner at the start of the race
Apparently a separate wildlife incident, which happened before the Mustang’s

Well that was an eventful 2 minutes on the Mountain

Interesting to hear that the Grove Racing issue with the tire coming off yesterday yesterday was a result of the differences between how Supercars & GT3 tires are bolted on leading to a “false seating” of the tire by the crewman.

That was one of the most surreal things I’ve seen on a race broadcast

Will never be able to look at that HRT Mustang GT3 the same

The Mustang hit an animal on track at 250 kph…

So you’re saying that isn’t vehicular fluid?
February 14, 2026 at 7:11 PM
They say the Mountain chooses its winners

The Mountain also chooses its (vehicular) sacrifices

This is how myth is made and maintained
what on earth has happened to that Mustang
