Look idk who's gonna win the Daytona 500 but recent history tells us that at the very least a Ford driver is going to lead the most laps.

Only once has a Ford failed to lead the most laps at Daytona in the Next Gen era (Chase Elliott led the most in the 2022 summer race)

Over the last 10 Daytona 500s, the driver who led the most laps in the race has only won twice. Both of which were by Denny Hamlin (2016 & 2020).

Some initial observations from the B Pillar report are that the averages are incredibly close, with the top 7 covered by less than a tenth and the top 50 by less than a second.

Maro being #1 is quite fitting. I'm sure the team wanted him to be the finishing driver.
