I'll be mostly yapping about games and programming. I also like to repost art. Because everyone seems to be doing it, here are some of my interests:

• Programming
• Rustlang
• Art
• Indie Games
• Gamedev
• Vinyl
• Animation
• TTRPGs
• Web Development
Remember to always cancel your Audible subscription!

I threatened to quit and got a free credit. Did it again, and after a dozen refreshes or so they offered me half-price. Fuck Audible and their scummy retention tactics.

"Return of the Obra Dinn" is seven years old this week.

For this not-particularly-special anniversary, here's a re-cammed and narrated timelapse of (nearly) all character creation, object modeling, scene posing, and general 3D work for Obra Dinn from 2015 to 2018:

C# has: class, abstract class, sealed class, closed class*, record, sealed record, abstract record, closed record*, struct, record struct, ref struct, enum, closed enum*, union, and union case classes*. (* currently in proposal stage)

Rust has: struct, enum.

Yet somehow, Rust is “too complicated.”

At this point I’m just waiting for something supernatural to drag me out of everyday life. I’m ready for the plot twist where I have to save the world. I’d even take dying in a war -- just give me something worth fighting for.

Since we published our follow-up, both Argo and Dora have now publicly responded to ZA/UM's statements about them in the documentary, which they strongly reject and describe as defamatory.

And they brought a lot of screenshots too.

After I got an email from Spotify yesterday announcing a price increase, I decided it's time to give Apple Music a proper try. I've had nothing but problems. The Windows app has crashed four times in the one day I've been using it, and every click takes like three seconds to process.

Guys, this is an awesome MorkBorg hack, and their first adventure is going to be a booklet that comes with a vinyl album.

If you’re into Borg hacks I implore you to check out Farewell to Arms (it’s awesome) and their new adventure! I am so so so stoked to get my hands on this one!
The Dying Lands haven't yet erupted into war. You have been sent to a forgotten cave of particular interest, tasked with exploring the depths and extracting its secrets.

Hacker News, Reddit, YouTube: every programming space is now an endless wall of AI posts. I get it -- it's useful, even if I don't enjoy coding with it -- but does every second thread have to be about it? There are still other things worth discussing in programming.

We're launching it today. Maybe you can even visit it if people stop hammering the server for a second.

The Prettier VSCode extension uses an outdated Prettier version, and global package installations using npm don't persist across node versions when using fnm.

So I end up using Scoop to install fnm to install node with corepack support to install pnpm to install Prettier.

This is fine.

So I watched a Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence trailer today -- turns out there's a remaster that hit the theaters for the first and last time yesterday. Only I can miss a 21-year-old movie by a single day. Just my luck.
