Nigel Farage is probably delighted today that Reform have the most members of a political party.

It doesn't have to be this way.

180,000 and rising. Hope ready to overtake hate.

Stand and be counted.

I'm watching The Sopranos with Mr B. We're saying everything in mob voices. It's hilarious as you can imagine.

Last night I got up to go to the loo. When I came back to our room I noticed there were flashing blue lights so looked outside. I could see about 4 people wearing what looked like yellow astronaut costumes. I thought- that's weird - and went back to bed. Now I'm wondering what I really saw!

Started watching Sopranos yesterday. Finger on the pulse as ever!

AI for school leaders - what are people using? Gemini has been recommended by our tech people. I'm not sure if you can upload more than one document a day which is the problem with the free ChatGPT account.

Is it too far fetched to expect that teachers would know that there is a new Ofsted framework? Not to know what it's like but that it exists.

If you receive legal threats from Nigel Farage for your reporting of Reform, please get in touch.

We have employed a defamation lawyer specifically for this purpose and would love to help (and we do so on non-commercial terms). www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

After a rubbish day (that started with someone having a go at me because I'd tried to help) I've just spent ages sorting my laptop out. Most tabs closed. Folders created. Neat and tidy. It's the most me way to relax.

We're getting a new website and I'm overseeing it which is very exciting. I want a link to a calendar for parents but it'll need to be different from the main one. Is there an easy way of doing this or are we going to have to type parent events into both calendars?

Why is Microsoft Word incapable of systematically applying its settings even within the same document? Bullet points are all over the place. Same font/size etc. Ridiculous.

I've run out of tea bags.

To be clear I've run out of my favourite tea bags but there are 7 other types of tea available. Still feels like a disaster though.

Phonics target, attendance target, more reading tests; so utterly depressing.
I’m not one for bleating, but the world has changed. Schools are unrecognisable from 10 years ago: complex and scary needs, apathy, illness. Sooner we understand this, the quicker we can address it.

I wonder why Trump wants to destroy the BBC...
Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

At the same time as saying schools have to identify core groups of pupils the DfE have introduced a new label (Ofsted 2023 Disadvantaged) which lumps together many different groups including PP, SEND, CIN and LAC. Helpful as ever. #EduSky
