There's a part of me ofc that will never understand it.
But the intellectual part of me says that once humans settled down into perm. settlements a lot of evil shit was done and so we came up with rationalizations to live with or justify those evils.

I have never understood why so many folks seem to feel like some people DESERVE to suffer in poverty. It’s absolutely wild to me. No one should EVER have to worry about being able to have a roof over their head or having food in their bellies, or being able to afford healthcare. Basic human rights.
