L'Shana Tovah! May we all be sealed for a life of health, safety, and contentment in this new year. It's a scary world right now, but every little thing we do to make it better is a blessing and a mitzvah. It feels sisyphean but together, even with little steps, we'll fix this. I have faith in us.

Not everything is awful today. I have new kittens! This is Lily (short for Lithium) and she crawled into my lap and started purring. Her sister, Sam (Xanax) is more shy.
