The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Democrats won't create the lasting change or tap into the rage of the majority with Schumer and Jeffries in the lead. Centrists won't get it done, no matter how the establishment wills it. The country has radically shifted. The last 10 years is your evidence.

Right, but my point is that whether or not Chicago is within the 100 mile zone is largely irrelevant for what the Border Patrol are doing in the city right now. They could be doing basically the same thing in the middle of Kansas.
CBP considers Chicago to be in the 100 mile zone b/c they consider all the Great Lakes' shorelines, not the actual borders, to be international borders including, absurdly, Lake Michigan. Any truly textualist or originalist jurist would see this as preposterous. www.aclu.org/documents/co...

Not ICE. Border Patrol. They’re wearing Border Patrol uniforms with clear Border Patrol patches on them.

There are many videos of ICE officers doing outrageous stuff but a lot of the absolute worst videos are of Border Patrol, who are basically Bovino and Miller’s most aggressive tool right now.
ICE agents in Chicago violently detain a non verbal autistic man for being “non compliant”

He couldn’t “comply” because of his disability…they don’t care

This is not the first time they’ve gone after a disabled person

They target the most vulnerable because it’s an easy way to meet their quota

🦏 Cutting $900bil from medicaid.

🦏 $2 Trillion in tax cuts for the richest people in the county.

🦏 Adding $2.4 Trillion to the national debt.

🦏 Intentionally starving the poor.

Now they want to force a national abortion ban?

The party of family values? Which family? Joseph Stalin's?

Senate update: Republicans are now trying to sneak a backdoor national abortion ban into their government funding bill. Republicans will stop at nothing to control women's health care decisions.

The entire right-wing propaganda machine came after Zohran Mamdani.

The president and his allies came after him.

Democratic leaders, by and large, did not have his back until the last minute.

He still won, turning out historic numbers and inspiring young voters.

His politics can win anywhere.

Didn't we stand against Tyrants at one point? Now as long as they're Republican we love them?

Nah.

Let’s keep up the pressure and make sure lawmakers do what’s right and say no mid-decade map changes. #INForAll
