Thanks for writing this piece. These days its easy to be paralyzed by the stream of awfulness and I appreciate your effort. I AM mad as hell. But inspired to see lots of protest this weekend and there’s more to do. Going to Lex soon to meet up with other mad as hell people and raise our voices.

We now live in a house we couldn’t afford if we had to buy it all over again in a country we couldn’t get into if we weren’t already here.

A lot of big news orgs missed the real story: With a sea of American flags and as many 5-10 million in the streets, No Kings showed the world what real patriotism looks like, with nary a tank - or a wannabe dictator - in sight

My report from the heart of No Kings www.inquirer.com/opinion/comm...
At ‘No Kings,’ millions of Americans show the flag is mightier than the tank
From Philly's flagship protest to San Diego, several million 'No Kings' protesters trumped a president's birthday parade.

A friendly guy held the elevator door for me once in a bank in Scottsdale. It was Alice Cooper.

If the line is decades long, you don’t even know you’re crossing it. First time I voted in 1984, my drill sgt handed out absentee voting forms while telling us he had a suggestion if we were unsure who to choose. You know which candidate he suggested.

Coincidentally, “I want them to regret the crime” is the same rationale I have for fighting these dumb bastards until they’re prosecuted, jailed or the country’s no more.

Federal funding for public broadcasting has been eroding for decades and now makes up about 15% of stations’ budgets. I’m betting most local supporters will make up for any lost funding through increased monthly donations. I know we will. Fuck this administration.

My op-ed in today's Herald-Leader: Today in DC, we're seeing the political equivalent of a bloodletting. In less than 100 days, the Trump Administration has undermined a strong and growing economy and turned the American dream into a nightmare for many.
