Making a hay roof material + mesh set up was something that was more challenging than I expected! There was a lot of experimentation that went into this, which eventually lead to the final chunky roofs I made for the houses. The final result is a lot more optimized than in the first screenshots.

Today on #NatureIsAConceptArtist something a little closer to home, Fingal's Cave (Scotland).
It's a sea cave formed entirely from hexagonal basalt columns, similar in structure to the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland.
