What I’ve missed Bluesky!
Jubilation 🙏 🎉🥳 NY!
I feel grateful too to have been fully present for family and friends this week with some needed time.
A few days ago I listened to Tara Brach talking about taking a pause and realised I needed too to sometimes stop.

A little distracted with busyness and it’s a long weekend for many Victorians; will be helping out family this week too. Have a wonderful week making each day special - always

My practice is a practice that lacks any duality.
I practice the heart-essence of everyone
As being the Bodhicitta.
I practice that my own mind
Is primordial Buddhahood.

The true issue is not the presence of thought but our entanglement in its content. The mind, left untrained, grasps at whatever appears, mistaking transient mental movements for reality.

Good morning Sunday, friends at Bluesky. This was my view of Södertälje Canal just before the widening of the canal began. The canal narrows here at the old lock, just before the Mälar Bridge. It was a joy to watch all the boats and large ships that passed here, then.

I deleted a post just now of a backpacker who was having the time of his life in Australia, only to see a distressing post of him being racially vilified - so I deleted it. I find it one of the most difficult things - Racial prejudice. 🥺😢

Our grandchildren all had a great fun night celebrating Halloween. In recent years the tradition has been very much embraced that it was for them a free day from school.
