This is what many of us have been saying. Part 3 of the Planning & Infrastructure Bill is based on a myth: that we don't have enough homes because wildlife and green spaces are protected. It will solve nothing, and inflict terrible harm on our remaining ecosystems

Today is World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. Everyone has been affected, or knows someone who has been effected, by accidents on our roads. Sadly, the number of deaths on Irish roads has been rising for the past number of years.

The only chart that matters when it comes to housing —

Between 2019 and Q2 2025, planning permission for 329,637 units granted, but only 213,790 started.

There’s no issue with zoning, no issue with planning. They are just not being built — except 2024, then the new government crashed that.

Government's new housing plan? 👇

Delivering homelessness, blaming communities.

After a wasted year tinkering at the edges, we now have a plan with....no targets.

This was probably the biggest climate demonstration in Ireland since 2019-2020!

A huge Green Party turnout at the National Climate March today to call on the government to stop the U-turns and get serious about climate action, nature restoration and ending fossil fuels.

Miami is ground zero for Sea Level Rise (SLR).
They build walls & install pumps, but it rises through the the limestone substrate anyway.
Cork has a porus substrate too, and a perched aquifer, which moves in tandem with the tides.
SLR will be non-linear also.
