A week of GCSE exams & anxiety has been HIGH.
Today she did her first stint at volunteering for @breakcharity.bsky.social - it was a challenge she said (lots of masking her autism & anxiety) but ,after a much needed power nap on the way home, said she’d like to do it again.

Being able to record the audiobook of Wonderfully Wired Brains was the most brilliant thing, it’s real, authentic, it’s my voice sharing my passion.
AI stealing creative energy is not the way forward, it’s flat, it’s dead and not the human connection we need!

Very weird to see writers cheering for A.I. audiobooks. This is the same horrible machine that they want to replace YOU. Audiobook narrators are your peers.
